“Wow… Three hundred years? There’s a lot more to you than meets the eye, huh?” Kacey shakes her head, resting a hand on the other girls arm. “It’s fine! It’s not a burden, I promise, I don’t mind at all! I’ll make it fun too, I swear.” She chuckles, squeezing her shoulder reassuringly.

“Then… what? Do you know him or something…?” She asks tentatively, not wanting to pry where she wasn’t welcome.

She grinned. “You could say that~ I don’t exactly look my age anymore. Not that I ever really did.” She had always been told she looked younger than she did—though now, with her physique forever in the body of a thirteen year old, the saying was just truth now. She smiled at the touch on her shoulder, smiling just a bit more. “Only if you’re sure,” she replied, nodding.

“Do I know him…?” Her smile lessened, becoming more rueful than anything else. “I don’t know. Just because they have the name doesn’t mean they’re the same person. So I don’t know if I really know him or not.”

“Mm. Well, I think that I’ve got quite a bit to learn about you, Crystal. I hope you’ll let me stick around long enough to do so.” She smiles, nudging her shoulder gently. “Yes, I’m sure. I’d really like to teach you what I know.”

“Well, if you want to make sure then you should meet him. I don’t think it’d be that hard. You control snow and ice, and he’s the spirit of winter. All you have to do if follow winter wherever it goes, I’d guarantee you’d find him.”

Which isn’t a bad thing, talking is actually very good, but only if you’re charming. If you’re not charming then most people get bored very easily! But you seem very charming, so I’m sure people never get bored of listening to you talk. And now it seems that ranting is contagious! I’m Kacey, pleasure to meet you, sir.”

“OF COURSE I’M CHARMING!” He a gave a smug smile, rocking back and forth on his heels. “If I wasn’t charming no one would believe me half the time when I say I’m the Doctor. Or at least trust me. It’s all in the charms. At least, now I’m going on about something else. Pleasure, Ms. Kacey. Yes, ranting can be a contagious thing. Not a bad contagion though.”

Kacey crosses her arms over her chest, grinning up at the taller man. “Mhm, being charming can certainly work wonders.” She chuckles, running a hand through her hair. “So, Mr. Chatterbox, what are you a doctor of, anyway? Medicine, psychology, dentistry?”
